THE JOY OF CRUISING
HOW TO CRUISE FOR FREE

Cruising has now become affordable to almost everyone. Prices start as low as $199 for a three-day cruise and, of course, go much higher for a 90-day cruise around the world. Any cruise can be yours if you have a large network of family, friends, work associates, church members, and other contacts. How? Put together a group. Cruise lines and consultants love groups. People love to travel and cruise with like-minded individuals. The person who organizes this and puts the group together gets to cruise FOR FREE!

Does your family vacation together each year? Do your friends long to go to Alaska but can’t find the time to do the research? Are you involved with a group with mutual interests, i.e., scrap-booking, dancing, scouts, church, PTA, gardening, book club, singles organization, etc?.

Decide where you want to go and call a knowledgeable cruise consultant to help you put your vision into action and cruise FOR FREE! For every eight cabins (sometimes less) booked, most cruise lines will give a FREE CRUISE to the person organizing the trip. Put together 15 cabins and you and your spouse or a friend can cruise FOR FREE...anywhere, anytime! FREE CRUISE, FREE ENTERTAINMENT, FREE MEALS, FUN, FUN, FUN! These are the steps that you should take to get started:

Crystal Serenity

A knowledgeable cruise consultant is key to the success of your FREE CRUISE. You are bringing the customers to them. Besides the destination and the ship, they should help you coordinate activities on board. Ask questions. Do you need a private meeting place, audio-visual aids, a private cocktail party? Together you should be creating a well-planned trip at the best affordable price. Your consultant should also help you negotiate added amenities with the cruise line. Consider complimentary champagne, a free shore excursion or a private show.

Your agent must be proactive and negotiate
all benefits UP FRONT before any deposits are paid.

You now have the ship, the destination, the price and a great itinerary. Next, it’s time to seek out your fellow cruisers. Your cruise agent should provide all brochures, videos, posters, handouts, etc at little or no cost. Together you can customize a handout to distribute with a registration form. Pass out your information to anyone who might be interested. Give several copies to members of your group, church, family, etc. so that they can give it to their contacts. Email everyone in your address book. You will find people love that it’s all been planned for them. Consider hosting a “Cruise Night” to discuss the trip and get everyone really excited. Keep going until you have enough people for your FREE CRUISE.

Many organizers like to get involved in collecting money for the group. Some will even mark up the price a little to help cover any additional charges they will incur with flights, shore excursions, gratuities, etc. Work out these details with your cruise consultant. On your first cruise, though, concentrate on signing enough shipmates for your FREE CRUISE.

Spirit of Discovery

As your sailing day approaches, make sure everything has been done to guarantee a great time with wonderful memories. A token gift will help create lasting memories and get people to sign up again. How about having t-shirts created saying "Jones 2004 Family Reunion Cruise" or "Greensboro Ski Club 1st Annual Cruise". Take a group “t-shirt” picture to give everyone.

It’s a good idea to be pre-planning for your next FREE CRUISE before you leave for this one. Have flyers and registration forms ready to distribute before anyone departs the ship. People hate it when their dream cruise comes to an end. Give them something to look forward to while you start earning another FREE CRUISE!
