Competency-Based Resumes:
How to Get Your
Resume to the
Top of the Pile

Do you want the key to the best jobs with the best employers? It’s time to write resumes targeting the competencies employers are really looking for in today’s tough job market.

Competency-Based Resumes offers you a new and more effective way to write resumes emphasizing the knowledge, skills, and abilities employers need. The most sophisticated U.S. and international organizations are using competency-based systems to recruit, interview, select and promote employees. This trend is growing. Without a competency-based resume, you will eventually be left behind in the job market.

This book teaches you to write competency-based resumes that will move your resume to the top of the pile. The authors help you identify the competencies for your ideal job and maneuver past the minefields of the resume writing process. By following their step-by-step approach, you will produce a resume that will give you the edge in the competitive job market.
