Charlotte Women's Build 2005

Please support the Women's Build this PANTHER'S Season by parking in the Morehead Place Building - 521 East Morehead Street (diagonal from the Dowd YMCA). Your $7 donation puts you blocks from the stadium and EVERY DOLLAR goes directly to the Women's Build. Tailgating and grilling are allowed.

We at HFH are currently accepting donations of monetary and in-kind gifts. If you would like to make a donation to the Women's Build, please complete and return our donation form

Volunteers: The Charlotte Habitat for Humanity Women Build program has successfully filled all of our volunteer spots for the fall!

What is Charlotte Women's Build? Over the past two years the Charlotte's Women Build Program has built four homes. This builds on Habitat Charlotte's success in building the first all women's house in the nation in 1991!

What will Charlotte Women's Build Accomplish?

  • Empower women to move people out of poverty housing by building Habitat homes.
  • Empower a diverse group of women by providing them with an opportunity to work together in a spirit of community.
  • Empower women to participate in the work of Habitat for Humanity by teaching new skills in a non-competitive environment of cooperation, partnership and fun.
  • Charlotte Women's Build is part of an nationwide effort by Habitat for Humanity International called Women Building a Legacy. This effort has focused on women's ability to transform children's lives and address the fact that more than 12 million children in the United States are living in poverty.

Our schedule for this fall's Women Build program includes the following timeline:
